Ekolution begins an exciting collaboration and begins to supply hemp fiber insulation to Nordströms Bygghandel.

Ekolution, a leading player in hemp fiber insulation, is pleased to announce the new collaboration with Nordströms Bygghandel (“Nordströms”), one of the leading construction trading companies exclusively for professional customers.

The new collaboration will combine Ekolution's expertise in hemp fiber insulation with Nordström's extensive experience and broad contact network in the construction industry. Together we strive to offer the industry effective solutions with low climate impact.

Ekolution is now establishing a large-scale production facility in Skåne for the production of CO2-binding building and insulation products. The company also plans to launch other exciting products such as acoustic panels, facade panels, furniture boards, bio-composites, textile fibers, etc.

Hemp fiber insulation is a fully certified building insulation registered at EPD International (Sweden's leading EPD at the moment), CE marked (ETA), registered with Byggvarningen, SundaHus, BASTA, Svanen etc. Ekolution is now investing heavily to meet increased demand for bio-based insulation materials and is commissioning the factory in Staffanstorp in Q3 2024.
