Ekolution AB has signed an agreement with Optimera Svenska AB.

Through the agreement with Ekolution, Optimera will be the first building products store in Sweden to offer Ekolution® Hemp fiber insulation. The cooperation enables the products to be stocked by Optimera in Sweden and can contribute to fast deliveries in most of Sweden.

Ekolution AB manufactures and sells sustainable bio-based building materials and building systems. Products are CO₂-negative, energy efficient and healthy for both building and human. The flagship product Ekolution® Hemp Fibre Insulation is now available at Optimera and is also registered at Building materials assessment, Sunda House and EPD International.

Industrial hemp stores CO₂ throughout its lifespan and is a renewable resource from agriculture. Hemp grows from seedling to full grown product in 100 days and stores 22 tonnes of CO₂ per hectare. This means that Ekolution's hemp insulation has very good environmental values right from the start, more precisely minus 2.2 kg CO₂^e per sqm (100mm thickness).
